For emptying material from filter hoppers and silos
These are devices preferably designed for emptying the filter plant hoppers during operation. A rotary feeder transports material from the top to the bottom by rotating the feeder rotor. The rotor is equipped with a flexible blade ending, which ensures the required tightness of the unit during operation of the filtration plant. The rotor is supported on the shaft by bearings which are located outside the conveyed material area. The rotation of the rotor is provided by a motor with a gearbox mounted on the base of the rotary feeder. The rotary feeder is most commonly used in filtration plants and cyclone separators with a requirement for continuous dust removal during operation of the technology. The design of the rotary feeder ensures the sealing of the discharge opening during its operation and thus prevents air from being drawn into the filter or dirt from being blown into the outside of the filter. RPGG rotary feeders are certified for separation of explosion hazardous and non-explosion hazardous areas, and are therefore also used in explosive dust extraction applications.
