For paper mills, recycling plants
The rotary separator separates paper strips, textile fibres or plastic strips from the extracted air. Often used in printing, paper mills and recycling plants
Rotary separators are equipment designed for the separation and processing of materials, especially paper and PVC scraps, chemlon clumps and similar materials, produced in paper mills, printing plants and recycling plants. These separators work on the principle of rotation, where particles of material are trapped on a screen and wiped off by rotating slats and then conveyed to a discharge chute. The operation of the separators is most often positive pressure, located behind the conveying fan or in front of it if it is necessary to protect the fan from the conveyed material. Rotary separators are manufactured in performance ranges from 2,000 m3/h to 50,000 m3/h and contribute to an increase in total system pressure drop of approximately 600 - 800 Pa. The separators can be used to control the extraction power and do not change the separability. The standard assembly of the separator is an inlet merge duct with check valves, an outlet duct for the interconnecting piping, an interconnecting piping with a packer or baler and a steel structure with walking, service platforms.
