We realized an order for our partner, who is engaged in the production of burning machines. The aim is to exhaust the burning machine when burning plastic products.

 

For the extraction of the burning machine we used a G&G Patro JET filtration unit with an extraction capacity of Q= 4 700 m3/h. The filtration unit is equipped with filter cartridges - TI206 with nano fiber flame retardant, regenerated air pressure pulses. The radial fan is placed in an acoustic box to ensure low noise level. Exhaust of filtered air is routed to the outside. Our delivery included the installation of a new filtration unit with connection to the investor's ductwork. The implementation was carried out by our partner company V-Dusting. The exhaust from the plastic burning had problems at first with the formation of an impermeable crust of plastic on the filter material. This problem was eliminated by adding sorbent to the extraction pipe. This sorbent bonded the plastic particles to itself and through regeneration the dust is knocked into the waste bin.

 

Description of the cartridge filter

This is a dry, cartridge filter device for dust fractions, equipped with automatic regeneration of the filter medium by means of pressurized air. Regeneration of the filter medium is cyclical at set time intervals with the possibility of controlling according to the actual pressure loss. The extraction capacity is determined by the fan used according to the type of material and the required load on the filter area. The filter area load is set to a minimum of 1.0 m3/m2/min for the G&G Patro JET filter type. The filter unit is manufactured in a version for outdoor installation without the need for roofing. The filtration unit achieves high filtration efficiency - up to 99.9%, therefore it is possible to return the filtered air back to the production hall. The ratio of the return air to the hall space and the outdoor environment is determined by the technology designer according to the characteristics of the extracted material and the air conditions of the production facility.
