Production of high temperature candle filters for flue gas dedusting

Europe

Manufacture and installation of candle filters for flue gas dedusting

Our company has extensive experience in the production and implementation of filter systems for the dedusting of flue gases from biomass boilers. As part of our reference projects, we have manufactured and supplied G&G Ceramic JET filtration devices, which are specifically designed for the efficient filtration of flue gas and the removal of solid particles produced during biomass combustion. Key features:

High resistance to high temperatures: Ceramic filter plugs are able to withstand temperatures up to 900°C, allowing reliable operation even in harsh conditions without the risk of spark damage and fuel burn-off. The filter is resistant to burning.

Automatic regeneration: The filter units are equipped with a system of automatic regeneration of the ceramic rods by pulses of pressurized air, which increases efficiency and extends the life of the filters

Environmental efficiency: our systems are designed to minimize particulate matter (PM) emissions to levels below 10 mg/m^3.

Flexible solutions for different performance: The filter devices are adapted for boilers with a capacity of up to 2 MW. Our photo gallery shows different implementations of candle filters in practice, where each project illustrates the individuality and adaptation of the system to the specific requirements of the client. These examples demonstrate our ability to provide reliable and efficient filter systems that are key to modern flue gas dedusting and environmental protection.

Flue gas, candle filters

G&G Ceramic JET flue gas filters are designed to dust off the flue gases produced by the combustion of solid fuels in combustion sources. Due to their design, the filter units are used for dedusting biomass burning boilers.

The basic characteristic of the filtration devices is their resistance to hot particles and residues of unburnt fuel, which occur in the flue gases of biomass combustion. The flue gases entering the filter unit are directed to the bottom of the filter unit by means of an internal partition so that the filter unit housing is heated evenly. The flue gas passes upwards through the filter media into the clean filter chamber and then through the outlet opening into the flue gas fan.

The ash is discharged by means of a rotary feeder into the downstream ash path.  In lower building heights we supply filter units with horizontal arrangement of filter candles This design is suitable for indoor installation in the boiler room.

The filter unit is thermally insulated throughout the casing and is equipped with an electric heating cable to temper the filter bed and prevent condensation of the flue gas when the boiler starts or runs at low flue gas temperature.

Installation of the filter is ensured by the client's own installation technicians. We supply filters to our partners all over Europe.
