Our references include the manufacture and installation of a cylindrical silo for the storage of polymer additives. The silo is equipped with a G&G SILOVIB filtration system with vibro-clamp regeneration.

 

The subject of the contract is the design, manufacture and implementation of a system for storage and dosing of polymer additives for further technological processing. The largest part of the realization consists of a cylindrical silo, equipped with a filtering device for the deaeration of the pneumatic transport. The system of material removal from the silo is solved by means of a screw conveyor, weighing hopper and a low-pressure fan transport system. The production of all components is provided by G&G filtration, the general delivery of the construction is provided by G&G filtration CZ.

 

Cylindrical silo for storage of bulk material, sawdust and wood chips

The G&G silo of our production is used for storage of bulk material. The cylindrical silo is also used for storage of material such as sawdust, shavings and chips generated in wood processing plants. The most common application of the silo is to provide an operating fuel supply for a boiler house. Longer term, it is used to provide an operating supply of material for a briquetting line or as a material storage for waste dispatch. G&G silos can be equipped with an auger discharge system in the bottom cone of the hopper with a rotary feeder closure at the material outlet. Pneumatic conveying of material is most commonly used to fill the silo using a filtering device located on the silo ceiling. For chip transport, a cyclone separator located on the silo ceiling can be used. The cylindrical silo can be equipped with relief membranes for the storage of explosive dusts, an access ladder and a dry pipe.

 

The production of the cylindrical silo is always carried out according to the specific specifications of the investor. According to the client's needs, we supply silos with a steel substructure with a truck passable height. The standard is to be placed on a concrete base with a connecting material path to the boiler house, briquetting plant or for further processing.
