Dust extraction from the grinding plant

References using our G&G Jet BAG filtering device for extraction and filtration of grinding dust. Our filter units achieve long filter media life and low filter media replacement costs when filtering grinding dust.

 

Our scope of supply includes the manufacture and delivery of G&G Jet BAG filtration equipment for grinding dust extraction applications. The filtering device is equipped with automatic regeneration of the filter media by means of pressurized air. The filter media is flat non-woven filter hoses. The extraction is provided by a radial high-pressure fan with high efficiency. The G&G Jet BAG filter system for dust extraction applications in grinding plants ensures continuous extraction performance and has a long filter media lifetime of at least 5 years in two-shift operation. We supplied the filtration equipment for our partner GreMi KLIMA, s.r.o.

 

Specification of the filtration unit


The G&G Jet BAG filter unit is equipped with a pre-separation chamber for the separation of abrasive dust, which ensures the separation of coarser abrasive dust so that it does not damage the filter media. The regeneration system is located at the top of the filter unit so that the outlet pipe of the filtered air can be connected at the bottom of the filter cabinet. This arrangement of the regeneration system aids in the regeneration of the filter media and the filter unit has a lower pressure drop during filter operation. The regeneration of the filter unit is equipped with an intelligent control unit that responds to the magnitude of the pressure loss of the filter unit. If the pressure drop of the filter is low, the regeneration is switched off. As the pressure loss of the filter increases, the intensity of regeneration by pressurized air increases. The filter unit delivers spores of pressurized air for filter regeneration compared to conventionally used regeneration control systems.

 

When dust is extracted from the grinding plant, both very fine dust particles and coarse abrasive dust are drawn in, causing abrasive wear on the extraction duct. For the implementation, a welded, thick-walled exhaust duct was used so that the effects of abrasive wear from abrasive dust were minimised.
