We have realized an order for our partner - SURFIN Technology s.r.o. to replace the existing filtration equipment for exhausting the powder coating plant with a new filtration equipment.

We used a G&G Patro JET filtration unit with an extraction capacity of Q = 10 000 m3/h. The filtration unit is equipped with antistatic filter cartridges, regenerated with pressure air pulses. The radial fan is housed in an acoustic box to ensure low noise levels. The exhaust of the filtered air is routed back to the powder coating area. Our delivery included the removal of the existing filtration technology and installation of a new filtration unit with connection to the existing pipework. 

Description of the cartridge filter

This is a dry, cartridge filter unit for dust fractions, equipped with automatic regeneration of the filter medium by means of pressurized air. Regeneration of the filter medium is cyclical at set time intervals with the possibility of controlling according to the actual pressure loss. The extraction capacity is determined by the fan used according to the type of material and the required load on the filter area. The filter area load is set to a minimum of 1.0 m3/m2/min for the G&G Patro JET filter type. The filter unit is manufactured in a version for outdoor installation without the need for roofing. The filtration unit achieves high filtration efficiency - up to 99.9%, therefore it is possible to return the filtered air back to the production hall. The ratio of the return air to the hall space and the outdoor environment is determined by the technology designer according to the characteristics of the extracted material and the air conditions of the production facility.
