Reference production of sawdust and woodchip silos. The silo manufactured by us is equipped with a system of sawdust excavation by means of a screw discharge system. The silo is designed for storage of sawdust and wood chips as an operating fuel supply for an automatic biomass boiler.

 

Our company provided the key components for the complex implementation of the project for processing, transport and storage of wood waste. The most important part of the project was the manufacture of a silo for the storage of sawdust and wood chips. Furthermore, a transport fan and a cyclone separator of our manufacture were used. As part of the complex project, the shredding of waste wood was implemented. Subsequent transport of wood chips to the silo, installation of a biomass boiler and connection to the investor's heating system. The implementation of the contract was carried out by the partner company GreMi KLIMA, s.r.o. as the general contractor.

 

Silo for storage of sawdust and wood chips

The GKS silo of our production is used for storage of small wood material such as sawdust, shavings and chips generated in wood processing plants. The most common application of the silo is to provide an operating fuel supply for a boiler house. Longer to provide an operating supply of material for a briquetting line or as a material storage for waste dispatch. GKS silos are equipped with a screw emptying system in the bottom cone part of the hopper, with closure by means of a rotary feeder at the material outlet. Pneumatic conveying of material is most commonly used for filling the silo, using a filtering device located on the silo ceiling. For chip transport, a cyclone separator located on the silo ceiling can be used. GKS silos are equipped with relief membranes for the possibility of storing explosive dusts, an access ladder and a dry pipe.

 

Silo production is always carried out according to the specific specifications of the investor. According to the client's needs, we supply silos with a steel substructure with a truck passable height. The standard is to be placed on a concrete base with a connecting material path to the boiler house, briquetting plant or for further processing.
