An important reference is the implementation of sawdust transport to a remote silo. The sawdust transport is equipped with an auxiliary transport fan of our production for a distance of 150 metres and a cyclone separator with a rotary feeder of our production is used for sawdust separation.

 

The main task of the order was to ensure the possibility of filling two silos with a long distance between them - about 150 metres. For the realization of the order sawdust transport to the silo, our shut-off flaps, switching flap, cyclone separators, transport fans and rotary feeders were used. The piping used in straight sections is spiro piping in reinforced design in combination with welded elbows with long radius bends. All pipe joints are designed with flanged joints so that the pipe joints do not pose a risk of sawdust drift. The sawdust transport piping is equipped with inspection holes for inspection and possible cleaning of the piping branch. The installation of the technology was provided by our implementation unit G&G Filtration CZ, s.r.o. 

 

Transport fan

Our fans are designed for sawdust and dust extraction systems where the extracted material passes through a transport fan. The most common application is in a sawdust overpressure extraction system, where the exhaust of the transport fan is led to a filtering device. Other common applications are in the extraction of wet sawdust in sawmills using a separating cyclone and in pneumatic material handling systems. In the most common cases, sawdust transport is solved by means of transport fans. In certain cases, however, it is possible to use a vacuum sawdust transport system where the fan is located behind the filter unit. For sawdust transport, we produce a range of transport fans from 3.0 kW to 18.5 kW.
